When spectators from all over the world were banned from the Olympics due to Covid-19, small-businesses around the stadium faced a truly bleak period.
So we thought, if the world couldn’t come to Tokyo, let’s bring Tokyo to the world. Together with Facebook and Google, we brought 520 small shops around Tokyo, online.
Our campaign became the most widely covered content in Japan, garnering over 98% positive sentiment--in a city where the Olympics itself had less than 20% positive sentiment.
